Yellow Cardigan Copy Cat

I'm so loving all the strong colors and pastels this season. So today I went way beyond my comfort zone and got a bright yellow cardigan! For someone who always go for nudes, black and white this is HUGE!

LOVE! ♥ Who knew stripes with a yellow cardigan would look this cute? Not me! I had to copy this look! I would wear this with black work pants or a skirt like the gooorgeous woman in the picture. I definitely need a statement necklace too, but I wore my trusted strands of pearls instead :)

Latte Friday

I have named my Fridays "Latte Friday". I used to get a double latte every day before work until I started doing the math.... Lets just say I'd rather take a vacation to New York than buy lattes every day, so now I treat myself every Friday.

... and yes, I drink my coffee with a straw. Since I'm not too fond of the coffee-stain-on-the-crisp-white-shirt look, I do that. I am unable to drink from a coffee lid. True story.

Essie at H&M

I had a minor heart attack today at H&M when I noticed Essie nail polishes! We haven't had any shops selling this brand in Norway, so all my Essies have been purchased from Ebay. No more!!

I'm so in love with the minty green color that you see everywhere now. I probably wont be able to pull off that color in clothing when it comes to office wear, but maybe nails..?

Going Shoe Crazy

While I'm still dreaming of Spring and being able to wear flats and heels again, I am preparing myself by hoarding some new pairs of shoes....

My Life in January 2012, According to my iPhone

1. My little Fi and I ♥
2. Confession: my sweet tooth drove me to empty a full box of cake sprinkles. True story
3. .....so I realize I need to get back on the low carb diet and buy a new cook book!
4. This ugly looking thing actually works! Keep your onion in this and it will keep fresh!
5. Of course I will make my little girl into a computer geek like the rest of us!
6. I had to document my new long lashes! Exciting!!
7. My low carb life has begun.. this must be the best lunch I've tasted! SO yummy! Fiber rich crisp bread with baby spinach, salmon rolled with lots of cream cheese and slices of avocado!!
8. Office snack: Skyr (same as Chobani), carrot - and cucumber sticks with 10 almonds
9. My "little" boy at the hospital :( (he's all better now)

11. Me yesterday: I need to freshen up!!
