I'm currently in my home town and we have Mac there!! Of course I had to make a visit and purchase some new goodies ;)My goal was to find some lipsticks, lip glosses and lip pencils to use for the wedding. In my head I know exactly how I want my lip color to be, but what lip products to use to get that... I don't know yet.
I want my lips to be nude - but not Creme de Nude - nude. Not porn star nude... I want some shimmer to the color and more to the cold/blue neutral undertones, than orange and brown.
So this is what I got:
Picture on the left is outside, no flash. Picture on the right is inside with flash.
When I got these lipsticks I was thinking of combining them with lipliners to get the perfect color I want. So these are more of a great base color.
But here are some
The pictures are taken inside, with flash, so they don't really do justice to the true lipstick colors. This is slightly over exposed.
I also got two lipglosses; Ample Pink, Oyster Girl, a lip pencil; Dervish and Mac Prep + Prime for lips.
I'm loving the Ample Pink because it's such a beautiful neutral pink to wear all on it's own. Oyster girl is perfect to use on lipsticks you want to lighten and brighten up!
The eyeshadows I got was two staples and one new.
This is my second Satin taupe and third Brulé. - Those are holy grails for me. The third one: Twinks is a color I've been thinking for almost two years that I already own!? How could I have missed this color?? It a gorgeous burgundy brown. I love it!

Beautiful lipsticks! Love Fabby and Syrup. I also have the Ample Pink Plushglass, I put it over Angel and Snob, but it´s drying-out my lips ;( But maybe it´s just me, I´m addicted to lipgloss you know ;) and so my lips are always dry without!
I really like Syrup, great haul by the way! I didn't know about Ample Pink, but it's al colour I'm going to look out for.

Some of the Mac lip products I find drying too. I haven't worn this enough to say that it does that on me too.. I hope not :(
