Several months ago I started using Lilash for the first time with amazing results. My lashes grew super long, almost too long!
I stopped using it about three months ago and I thought I would share with you
what happens after Lilash:My long curly lashes kept it's length and curl for two months after I stopped using it. Then, all of a sudden new, short lashes grew out... and before I knew it I was back to my own lashes except for one thing: they are still curly!! Yey!
My lashes have always been so straight that I would have to go over them with an eyelash curler several times.
The funny, but slightly annoying thing is that a few lashes are still longer than my new short ones, so they look really uneven at this point. You can probably see that on the picture below.
Lilash Q and A's: I've had soooo many question regarding Lilash, so I'm going to answer some of them here:
Q: Where did you buy Lilash?A: I bought them both from Ebay. Different sellers.
Q: How much does it cost?A: Around $ 120-130
Q: How long does it take before you see results?A: It took me about 4-5 weeks. After that they grew really fast! I didn't experience the lash curl until about 8 weeks of use.
Q: How do you use Lilash?A: Lilash comes in a tube and the applicator is like a thin little eyeliner brush that you apply as if it was an eyeliner. I only applied on the upper lashline. Apply it every night after you have removed your makeup. You don't have to wash it off when you wake up.
Q: Did you experience any side effects?A: Yes! Most people do, so you have to do your research and decide on your own if you think it'll be worth it before start using Lilash.
Red, irritated eyes:The most common side effect is getting irritated, red eyes when you start using Lilash. Both myself and other friends experienced this for the first
two weeks. At this point many people give up and return the bottle being really disappointed. - BUT, this shall pass! ;) The red eyes lasts for about two weeks and then it gets better. I did have occasional days when my eyes got red again after that and people thought I had cried.. Haha. Still, I never considered not using it anymore.
Once you have the desired length of your lashes, you don't have to use it every night anymore. Just use it a couple of times a week to maintain the length!
Facial hair:Since you are applying this at night, some of the Lilash gel
can (doesn't have to!) get rubbed off and travel down the cheek area. What happens then is that you will obviously get excess hair growth on your cheek! Lol. That happened to me on one side of my face (just a small area) and totally freaked me out at first. I just waxed the hairs off (at home) and my own natural "invisible" baby hairs grew back. So be aware of that!!
Discoloration of the eyelid:I did get some discoloration of the eyelid. That is, my upper lashline where I apply the Lilash, got a little brown-redish. This was easy to conceal as I wear eyemakeup everyday. It was not noticeable when I was not wearing makeup for anyone else but myself - who knows every inch of my face of course. The discoloration went away when I stopped using Lilash.
The iris changing colorThis never happened to me nor any of the girls I know who are using Lilash and have been for years. But I have read about it and I would stop using Lilash right away if that happened to me.
Q: Can I use Lilash in the morning under my makeup?A: Yes you can, but I wouldn't recommend it. I tried it once and my eyes were blood shot and running all day. It was pretty bad. Not doing that again!
Q: How long does one tube of Lilash last?A: I think the Lilash company says one year, but most people I know keep the tube for around 6 months. Still, that's a long time! That's $ 20 a month for longer lashes! ;) (total cost of Lilash is $ 120).

Now, I have finally got my hands on a new tube of Lilash and I'm starting to use it again.
The picture on the left is my lashes today and that I will use as a new before-picture. The picture below on the left is a close up and the picture on the right is just to remind you what my lashes looked like when using Lilash: after-picture!
