Quest to weightloss...

I had a baby girl 8 months ago and lost 48 Ibs in three months after that by going on an extremely strict low carb diet. That diet kind of sucked a lot of energy out of me too, so I wont be doing another low carb for a while...

Right now, I'm taking diet supplements and actually counting calories :P Boring yes, but it's giving results. Actually I'm not bothering to count the calories, but I do try to keep it in mind. I'm starting up my exercise again too once the heat we are having in Norway goes away... Which will be soon, because we don't have long Summers here :)

I have another 20 Ibs to loose to get back to my "normal self" and I really can't wait to get there. There's nothing worse than feeling bad about yourself, because you can't get away from you!
So that's my motivation; feeling good about my self!! When I feel like crap, like I have been feeling since I basically became pregnant and started gaining weight, it effects so many parts of my life. I'm less fun and social and that bugs my boyfriend - obviously, as it should too.


- And this picture of me a couple of years ago is also my motivation! Ha ha. Let me introduce you to my "normal self" ;)

So, on my quest of loosing 20 Ibs starting June 24th, I'm now 3,3Ibs lighter. My goal is to loose most of it by the time I go back to work August 24th.

I'm no diet professional nor am I a nutritionist, but I'd suggest counting carbs instead. My mom went on this diet after having my sister (who is now 10) and she just shed pounds. The downside, you can't count carbs forever, but you can control portion size... anyway, good luck!

Good for you for losing all that weight post pregnancy! I lost about 20 lbs after my son was born last March, but have gained it all back since >.< I just love my carbs too much to cute them out completely! Keep us posted on your progress & good luck :)

Lizzard: Thank you! :) Low carb is how I lost the 48Ibs in 3 months.The only thing about that is that it takes a lot of your energy and I could use all the energy I can get these days ;) I might do low carb for a couple of weeks, but not 3 months again! :O

Valerie: Thank you! I love carbs too! I would much rather have carbs, than fat and proteins! Too bad my body gain weight almost by talking about carbs :P

I have a 1 year old girl and I didn't started dieting until 1 month ago, my strategy has been to eat healthy, exercise at least 30 minutes every day and drink lots of water, I'm losing weight very quickly and I also have one of those pictures of how I used to look like to encourage myself!
