What Have I Been Up To..

Since May 1st I decided to take a grip of my life and whip myself back into shape! I have never had any problems gaining loosing weight, but for some reason, the past year I have not been able to do it. I haven't had the energy to do it. Suddenly becoming a single mom, working full time and commuting made me start stress-eating. I saw the weight creeping on, but I couldn't really care less. I didn't have the energy to bother.

Well, I FINALLY decided that, no more! I'm not accept not being the best me! The past 6 week I've lost 20 Ibs! :) Yey! I feel very proud, but also super frustrated that I still have another 26 to go... Grr! I'll get there by late August, but that is a hundred years from now!!! - Or so it feels like..
I'm doing LCHF/low carb/Atkins. It's the only thing that works with me and makes me lose weight fast!

So lately, my life have been revolved around meal planning, getting sugar cravings out of my system, working on my weight loss plan with small goals, running, staying positive and placing lots of orders from iHerb for my favorite protein powder! My day is not complete unless I start it off with my protein ice-coffee :)

Oh, and the pink Champagne have been purchased to celebrate the VICTORY of my weigloss in August! ♥

Surprisingly, I haven't had any recent makeup purchases, but a few accessories ;) The JCrew pave bracelet (in the picture) and I'm waiting on my Max & Chloe monogram necklace. I'm so excited to get that I could burst out of my skin!

Careprost After 10 Weeks...

.. Well, it's probably been more than 10 weeks, but after 7 weeks I ran out of Careprost so I had a pause while waiting to get a new shipment of this stuff. A bottle of Careprost will last you (normally) a lot longer, but I have been very generous when applying this to my lashes. I'm probably not exaggerating when I say I've used 3-4 drops on each eye every night...

Anyway, I have been using it for a while now and the
lashes go past the eye lash curler now! That is huge for me! My normal lashes would end at the middle of it. I have even made an illustration photo! Haha!

I'm not sure if they will grow any longer.. if they wont, that's okay. With my eyelash primer and new favorite mascara my lashes are long! - If they will, you wont hear my complaining ;)

As the lashes grow longer they start to naturally curl like you can see on this picture especially good..


So, my overall experience with Careprost is very good. This is a really cheap alternative to Lilash and all the other name brand lash enhancers. I have had almost no eye irritations with this. No eye discoloration, but the usual eyelash discoloration. You can barely see it in these pictures, but along the lash line the skin is a little bit darker. Nothing that regular eyeshadow/makeup doesn't cover up. I got that with Lilash too and as soon as I stopped using it, it went away.

Would I recommend this? Yes!
Will I keep using it? Yes!
Will I buy it again? Yes!

New Hair. New lipgloss.

I have been watching all episodes of Hart of Dixie the past few days so now I'm a little obsessed with Rachel Bilson. I love her style (except the boyfriend jeans) and hair, so today I had to dye my hair darker just because of her. Yes, I am that easily influenced. I actually did it myself too! It's only a toner so it will gradually wash out, but I think I will keep on using this color because I'm loving it.
Another thing I'm loving lately is bright pink lip color...

Today's little purchase was Lancôme La Laque Fever in the color 302, Lancome Rose. It's a long lasting lip gloss that supposedly lasts 8 hours. If it lasts for a couple of hours I'm happy :)
